How to Get a Mortgage

Here's an overview of the loan-application process

STEP ONE -- Apply Now! Getting started is easy

If you are shopping for a home, we can provide you with a pre-approval letter so you know your buying power (how much you can afford) and the seller knows you are serious and have the ability to purchase.  This helps especially during negociations for the purchase.

If you want to refinance an existing loan or if you've already selected a property to purchase and have a contract with the Seller, the next step is to complete your loan application, which can be done easily through our website.

To get started, simply select an application from the list on the left, fill it out and we'll contact you in less than 24 hours (typically just a few hours) to review your application and to obtain specifics so we can find the right loan program to fit your needs.

STEP TWO -- Your Loan is Approved and Funded

We'll analyze your credit, income and other factors to recommend the best loan program.  We'll spend time with you to educate you on your choices and then lock in a loan program and rate for you.  At the appropriate time we'll also order a property appraisal for you.

There will be a loan application and disclosures to sign and we'll need to obtain documentation from you such as a copy of your drivers license, pay stubs, bank statements, etc... in order to process the loan and secure your funding. 

We have secure electronic methods to send documents and documents can be sent back via fax or email, making the process Simple, Straightforward, Cost Effective, and Fast.

Once we obtain all the documentation needed, we send your "loan package" to the lender for final approval and a clear to close typically within a few weeks of submission.

You'll meet with a closing attorney to sign the final documents and your funding is completed. You now own a new home or just saved a bunch of money by refinancing, it's that simple.
